A native Californinan, and military brat, Robert Elmond Stone grew up on the road. "I used to sing those old songs as a youngster with my mom." His father was big on jazz and classical so he grew up with lots of musical influences and began playing music at a young age. He rediscovered his musical roots and heritage one day when he found himself singing an old country tune and "Whoa, that felt right, just fell into place." He's been singing country music ever since that feeling took hold.
